About our monitoring
To make sure your event runs smoothly, we monitor our infrastructure continuously and in real time. External monitoring services check every minute whether the web application, the photo upload API, the realtime socket for the live view, image processing and CDN as well as email delivery are working as expected. Every response time, HTTP status and error is logged.
Our servers are exclusively hosted in German data centers operated by Hetzner - that is not only GDPR-compliant but also offers low latency for your guests. Databases run in redundant configurations, backups are created multiple times a day and our infrastructure scales horizontally. As a result, the system stays stable even at large events with hundreds of simultaneous uploads.
In the event of an incident, our engineers are alerted within 60 seconds. Critical disruptions that affect a live event have absolute priority - even at night and on weekends. Planned maintenance windows are announced at least 48 hours in advance and scheduled for periods of low usage.
What to do if there is a problem
If despite our monitoring an issue does occur, the fastest way to reach us is via the emergency hotline shown in your dashboard. For general questions please use our contact form. If the live view ever goes down, uploads usually continue in the background and are automatically pushed once the system is restored - not a single photo gets lost.
